A random thought to change the blogskin and after searching for some, I decided to go back to basic.
Black was the ideal one but I thought to give it some earth tone.
Good Sunday,friends. Thank God tomorrow is a Mon-liday (Monday-holiday)!
I am a lil' Mraz hooked lately(Ever since that dream which I now recalled not even bit of the details of it.) and 'Sleep all day' is playing over and over again on my laptop.
Let's see what pictures did I not post yet?
On 23rd October 08

The only dish that's worth mentioning at Mad Jack's Cafe.
Other than that, Fyn & I have yet to find another one that's worth to talk about.

Marble cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake and oreo cheesecake respectively. My colleagues got that from Secret Recipe. It's a promotion and I can't wait to sink my teeth in their cakes when I go to KL in around 2 weeks to come.

A relatively healthy miso soup I had later that night. 23rd October is seriously calories overfilled and I can't make another mistake at dinner.
Yesterday, glorious and over heated Saturday, Jason & I headed to Chinatown in his vrooomm-noisy red Chevolet.
I just think I look different in photo when it's taken from the passenger seat.
My intention was to (hopefully) dig some second hand good deals & head for a good cuppa later in the day. While there is no second hand flea on Saturdays, we walked aimlessly getting tanned and dehydrated.
Lunch @ Maxwell market. Queues at featured stalls, Singaporeans would only queue orderly for good food.
My lunch.
I thought I wasn't hungry enough but we stopped by this HK desserts shop shortly after. I was asking Jason what is coming to Chinatown without eating desserts, then we saw the shop nicely display at our right.
Pure coincidence, I swear.
They are highly recommending their durian pomelo.(sp?)
My durian pomelo and double boiled 雪蛤. $10 gone, just like that.
Closing up is the goodness & richness of a durian.
I don't understand why there are some who don't like durian (like Jason).
It sure make me happy finally having a chance to eat one, despite my cough. My remedy for cough and sore throat is always to hit it with more toxics.
I can only imagined bliss.

Jason is always camera ready for me. I really think he musn't smile to look better.
Welcome to IKEA

We aheaded to IKEA,queenstown next outta not much choices. I picked that 2 flower wall lamps upon stepping in and chucked them aside after considering the practicability of it.
We had our dinner there and despite it's food court like manner, IKEA dishes are quite pleasing to the stomach.

I know we ate quite alot.
I seem to be the only shameless camwhorer in IKEA. I didn't see anyone but myself busy snapping away. On the brighter note, I am in a good mood.
This is my ideal kitchen layout.
Ideally but not made for Singapore's HDB. Jason almost sneered saying it's not possibe to find such a spacious kitchen in Singapore. I told him a bigger house would be the solution.
After combing that whole of queenstowns, we headed to Holland V. I really thought I should complete my weekend with a nice brewed coffee in a cafe.
Few parts of SG that's not like SG.
It was supposed to be Starbucks till Jason saw Haagen-Dazs. I had a $20 voucher for it so why not.

For Jason, the most ideal partner for ice - cream is waffle. We chose 3 ice creams with a waffle and when the dish arrived, I almost laughed my head off.
That waffle was so small(though good)! I had imagined a decent size that would hold that 3 scoops.
Nonetheless Haagen-Dazs ice creams save one's soul. Ice cream, possibly one of the best food inventions at all times. Oh, there is chocolate too.
I think I ate way too much yesterday that it distorts my looks. There were so many wrong takes and this (photo) is the least damaged one.
Happy Sunday.
Going to meet Irene & Vonx later @ Vivo. What should I dress? I swear I would order coffee later. It's not even a crave, it is just something to do so that I would feel right.
Good bye emotions. Hello stranger.
